1. Data Controller

2. What Personal Data We Process
– identification and contact details (name, email, phone number)
– details about the requested event (event type, date, venue, musical preferences, budget)
– for DJs and artists, profile information (photos, description, genres, price level, contact details, portfolio)
– communication between the customer and the DJ / artist taking place through the platform
– technical data about your use of the website (cookies, IP address, device and browser type) to ensure operation and security
3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
We process personal data mainly to:
– handle booking requests and facilitate contact between the customer and the DJ / artist (performance of a contract or steps taken prior to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
– operate, administer and secure the platform, including DJ profiles (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
– comply with legal obligations, e.g. accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
– communicate with customers and respond to enquiries (legitimate interest, or consent where applicable)
4. Retention Period
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing, but no longer than the duration of the contractual relationship, plus any period required by law (e.g. accounting and tax regulations) or until consent is withdrawn.
5. Recipients of Personal Data
We may share personal data with:
– the DJ / artist selected by the customer through the platform, to the extent necessary to handle the booking request
– providers of technical infrastructure who provide hosting, database and email services for us (e.g. Supabase, Vercel, Resend)
– public authorities, where required by law
These entities process personal data as our processors or as independent controllers, to the extent necessary to provide their service.
6. International Transfers
Some of the service providers listed above may process data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. in the USA). In such cases we ensure that the transfer takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or another appropriate mechanism under the GDPR.
7. Cookies
jakjelibo.cz uses cookies necessary for the operation of the website (e.g. sign-in, remembering your language preference) and, where applicable, anonymous traffic analytics tools. Necessary cookies can only be restricted through your browser settings; disabling them may limit the website's functionality.

Under the GDPR, you have the right in particular to:
– access your personal data
– rectify inaccurate data
– erasure of data ("the right to be forgotten")
– restriction of processing
