Terms and Conditions
libo / jakjelibo.cz
Effective from 11 September 2026
1. About libo
The libo platform, available at jakjelibo.cz, helps customers find and contact verified DJs and other artists for specific events. During the beta phase, libo acts primarily as an intermediary facilitating contact and arrangements between the customer and the selected DJ or artist. The specific performance agreement, price and payment terms are confirmed as part of the final arrangements.
Operator: Alexandr Sadirov, Company ID No.: 88114490, registered office: Roháčova 1099/83, 130 00 Prague 3, Czech Republic, email: info@jakjelibo.cz
2. How Bookings Work
– The customer provides details about the event, including the date, venue, musical preferences, budget and any other requirements, via jakjelibo.cz.
– libo recommends suitable profiles or assists the customer in selecting a DJ or artist.
– Availability, the exact scope of the performance, technical requirements, final price and any additional costs are confirmed during the final arrangements.
– The date is only considered firmly booked once the booking has been expressly confirmed using the method specified in the communication, such as by email, and once the agreed payment condition has been fulfilled.
3. Price
The price ranges and amounts displayed on the website are indicative only. The customer proposes a specific budget, which serves as the basis for the subsequent arrangements with the DJ or artist. The booking request is confirmed once the DJ or artist approves the proposed amount. Depending on the agreement, the final price may reflect, in particular, the duration of the performance, travel expenses, technical equipment, sound equipment, lighting, special requirements or an extension of the programme.
4. Customer's Obligations
The customer is required to:
– provide truthful and sufficient information about the event
– ensure a safe and suitable space for the performance
– ensure the agreed technical, access and organisational conditions
– pay the agreed price and any costs approved in advance
– notify libo without undue delay of any change to the date, venue or other material conditions of the event
5. Cancellation or Modification of the Event by the Customer
The following cancellation fees apply:
– more than 30 days before the event: no cancellation fee, unless a demonstrable and non-refundable cost has already been incurred
– 30 to 14 days before the event: 25% of the agreed price
– 13 to 7 days before the event: 50% of the agreed price
– less than 7 days before the event: 75% of the agreed price
– less than 48 hours before the event, or if the customer fails to attend or otherwise prevents the performance from taking place: up to 100% of the agreed price
6. Cancellation by the DJ or Artist
A DJ or artist may not arbitrarily cancel a confirmed booking without a serious reason. If illness, injury, a family emergency, a serious transport disruption or another objectively serious obstacle occurs, the DJ or artist must inform libo and the customer without delay. In such a case, libo will attempt to arrange a suitable replacement. A cancellation made less than 48 hours before the start of the event without a serious and verifiable reason will be considered a serious breach of the platform's rules.
7. Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances
A situation caused by circumstances that the affected party could not reasonably control or foresee will not be considered a breach of obligations. Such circumstances may include serious illness, injury, a natural disaster, an official prohibition, a major transport disruption or another comparable event. The affected party must inform the other party as soon as possible.
8. Complaints and Problems During a Performance
The customer should report any problem without undue delay. After the event, a complaint or other report may be submitted to info@jakjelibo.cz. The extent of libo's liability depends on whether, in relation to the specific booking, libo acts solely as an intermediary or as the direct provider of the service. This role must be clearly communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed. Where libo acts as an intermediary, libo accepts no liability for any damage, loss or harmful event caused in connection with the performance.
9. Consumers and Withdrawal from the Contract
Consumer rights are governed by the applicable laws of the Czech Republic. For services related to leisure activities that are provided on a specific date or during a specific period, the law may provide for an exception to the general right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.
10. Personal Data Protection
Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to handle booking requests and reservations, communicate with the parties, comply with legal obligations and operate the platform. Further details are provided in the separate Privacy Policy.
11. Final Provisions
These Terms and Conditions are intended for the beta version of the service. libo may amend these Terms and Conditions in the future. Any booking that has already been confirmed will be governed by the version of the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of its confirmation, unless the parties agree otherwise.
